RECOMMENDED COACHING SCALE OF FEES

The following “Scale of Fees” has been drawn up in response to requests from member coaches, their clients and clubs.  It should be noted that this scale is a guideline only.   Local situations will have impact on what should be charges by the coach as will the number of contact sessions a coach might have with an athlete over a period of time.  This is particularly the case where the coach is working with an athlete on a long-term basis.

The below coaching ATFCA accreditation levels reflect the Framework that is currently being followed.

PLEASE NOTE: Many branches may pay presenters lower than the fees indicated below in the desire to keep the cost of coaching courses down for participants.  This only goes to benefit the sport as a whole.

CLUB COACH

Club to pay:   State Athletics Association Fees

ATFCA registration – this includes Professional Indemnity

$15.00 per session for Foundation coaches

$20.00 per session for Event Group Specific coaches

$25.00 per session for Elite Performance and Master coaches

$5.00 per session for ITC coaches under the LA banner

(Additional expenses can be paid by negotiation.)

PRESENTING AT ITC AND COACHING COURSES

ITC Courses                       $30.00 per hour

ATFCA Courses                 $40.00 – $60.00 per hour depending of level.

            Note: Travel and Meal expenses are extra

ALL RECOMMENDED FEES ARE EXCLUSIVE OF GST.

THIS COMPONENT WILL NEED TO BE ADDED IF APPLICABLE.

*Travel Expenses should be charged at 55c – 65cents per kilometre.  This can be negotiated.
